Pensioners Luncheon Club

John 6:35

Jesus said to them,
“I am the bread of life;
whoever comes to me shall not hunger,
and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

Pensioner's Luncheon Club

We are a friendly group of ladies and gentlemen who meet in the Parish hall on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month for a meal and friendship.

The doors open at 11am for tea, coffee and biscuits to greet friends.
At noon, we serve a 3 course freshly cooked meal of soup, main course and dessert with a cold drink.
Tea and coffee are available afterwards.

The total cost is just £4 per meeting.

Most years we also enjoy a half day coach trip out with afternoon tea provided and in December, we have a Christmas party.

New members are very welcome.

If you would like any more information on joining us please contact ANN LILLY on 01704 541855 (evenings).

Luncheon Club’s Christmas Meal

A lovely time was had by the luncheon club as they enjoyed a delicious three course Christmas Meal, with all the trimmings followed by Mince Pies and Mints

They were then entertained by children from class two who sang three of their favourite songs from this years Nativity.  Everybody then sang along to Away in a Manger and We wish you a Merry Christmas.

Nobody left empty handed members of the luncheon club gave a Christmas present to show their appreciation of all the hard work that Ann and her team, Janice, Elizabeth, Wendy and Janet put in all year round.

The children gave everybody lovely chocolate Christmas tree shaped biscuits beautifully wrapped.

The children received chocolate Santa’s

And each luncheon club member went home with a tub of chocolates.
Thanks again to the team of ladies who make all of this possible.
